Background:

Before experiencing my own period of discovery, spiritual emergence and self-actualisation (which still continues), I spent around 25 years in the Marketing and New Media business, working up to Senior Manager level on both Agency and Client side, in a number of integrated marketing, web development, CRM and Brand management roles across UK, European and Global business sectors.

Experience:

I have experience working with a number of issues including: grief, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction issues, finding meaning and purpose in life, transitions, relationship issues, decisions, spiritual growth and personal development. I specialise in working across gender, sexual and spiritual diversities including alternative sexualities and relationalities, kink, BDSM and, in particular, the gay male Leather scene.

I also have a particular interest in and specifically focus on the following areas of research and practice:

  • understanding of gender, sexuality and cultural issues with specific focus on the areas of male (homo)sexuality and adolescent maturation into adulthood
  • intergenerational mentorship and the significance of ‘elders’ contribution in the community,
  • S&M and alternative-style relationships
  • how sexuality and spirituality are intertwined.
